Our Technology
Dr. Molina has outfitted our office with advanced technologies to ensure your treatment is comfortable, efficient and highly predictable.
Ziess Dental
Microscope
Dr. Molina is the first periodontist in Jacksonville County to utilize the ZEISS dental microscope in his practice. He uses it to provide the highest level of precision and care in microscopic surgery. The microscope offers powerful magnification and bright, focused lighting, allowing him to see tiny details that are invisible to the naked eye. This enhanced visibility helps him perform delicate procedures more accurately, preserve healthy tissue and ensure the best possible outcomes for your gums, teeth and implants.
Millennium
Laser
Dr. Molina uses his Millennium laser to provide LANAP and LAPIP treatments for gum disease and peri-implantitis, respectively. The laser targets infected tissue and bacteria while leaving healthy tissue unharmed, making treatment minimally invasive and more comfortable for you. Using the laser allows for faster healing, reduced bleeding and less swelling compared to traditional cut-and-stitch gum surgeries.
3D
CT Scanner
With our 3D cone beam CT scanner. Dr. Molina can see your entire oral anatomy in a 360-degree X-ray view. This is a key element in the planning of many of our procedures!
Digital
X-Rays
We take digital X-rays, which are safer, faster and more precise than traditional film X-rays. Digital X-rays use up to 90% less radiation and produce instant, high-quality images. Digital X-rays can be enlarged or enhanced for more accurate diagnosis, tracked over time to monitor healing, and more easily shared with other doctors when needed.
3D
Digital Impression Scanner
You won’t be subjected to traditional goopy dental impression material in our office! Dr. Molina uses a digital intraoral scanner to take detailed 3D impressions of your teeth and gums for precise treatment planning.
3D
Implant-Planning Software
To prepare for your implant placement, Dr. Molina uses 3D implant-planning software to simulate the procedure in advance. This ensures there will be no surprises during the actual procedure.
