Mild sedation is a gentle, effective option that helps patients feel more comfortable and at ease during treatment. It works quickly and clears your system soon after your visit, making it a convenient choice for many patients.
Dr. Molina administers sedation in a controlled setting and will determine if it’s appropriate based on your medical history and level of anxiety.
Our relaxation option:
Most patients are able to drive themselves home after their appointment. This form of sedation is safe, gentle, and effective for reducing dental anxiety.
If you would like help with relaxing, we can give you a sedative pill about an hour before your procedure, which produces a deep level of relaxation. Patients are usually awake but dozing and less aware.
This technique is very safe (even if you doze off), and you will be monitored throughout your visit.
This type of sedation will leave you drowsy, and you must have someone drive you home from your dental appointment.
Oral conscious sedation is suitable for longer procedures and anxious patients.
