Dental Implants
Dr. Molina specializes in this modern, innovative solution to replace decaying, damaged and missing teeth.
Your Dental Implant
Specialist
Do you have missing, damaged or decayed teeth? Dental implants have the look, feel and biting power of natural teeth.
Dr. Molina is a periodontist, a specialist in implant surgery and the treatment of the gum and bone surrounding teeth and implants. He is uniquely qualified to treat people with dental implants due to his understanding of how the surgery, implants and new teeth impact the bone and gum tissue. He has placed over 3000 implants, including multi-full-arch cases.
What Are
Dental Implants?
A dental implant is a biocompatible titanium or zirconia root replacement. It can be attached to a crown, bridge, denture or a whole new set of permanent teeth. This means Dr. Molina can replace a single tooth, a series of teeth or an entire mouthful of teeth.
Dental implants are a seamless tooth replacement option. They function and feel just like your natural teeth. Unlike bridges, implants don’t require shaving down the surrounding teeth to hold them in place. With a dental implant, you regain a fully functional tooth without altering the adjacent teeth.
Our Implant Options
For Teeth Replacement
A Single Implant
When replacing a single tooth, the most lifelike and conservative option is a single implant topped with a custom crown.
An Implant Bridge
Dr. Molina can replace several adjacent missing teeth using as few as two implants and an implant bridge.
All Ceramic Implant
Dr. Molina offers metal-free zirconia implants as an alternative for patients who prefer to avoid metal. Zirconia is a strong ceramic material that integrates well with bone and eliminates concerns about the metal sensitivities some people experience.
All-on-X
Dr. Molina can restore an entire set of teeth using just five or six dental implants. You’ll get fixed-in temporary teeth in a one-day procedure, followed a few months later by strong, stable permanent teeth.
Removable Implant-Retained Dentures
Two to four dental implants are all it takes for Dr. Molina to stabilize a denture in your mouth. The denture will stay put for eating and everyday wear, yet you can still easily remove it for cleaning.
State-of-the-Art
Implant Technology
We use the latest technology for detailed planning and precise implant placement: a 3D dental CT scanner for high-resolution imaging and a surgical microscope for full visualization of the implant site.
We also use the highest-grade Straumann implants, which our doctors consider the best on the market.

“I’d been suffering since my childhood with different dentists and treatments that worked just for a few years. Now, with implants, I feel much better. The pain I had suffered with is gone. I feel more comfortable and smile more often.”

“Extensive radiation treatments as a newborn forever damaged the integrity of my teeth, resulting in a lifetime of tooth and gum problems. Over six plus decades and multiple moves to new locations, I’d been treated by an army of periodontists—some good, some terrible. After moving to Jacksonville and dreading the hunt for a new periodontist, I was delighted and relieved when my dentist referred me to Dr. Molina for tooth extractions and implant prep.
“Dr. Molina somehow manages to be both incredibly gentle and thorough. Best of all, he takes the time to get to know you and explain what the treatment will be and how it will be done. He is my tooth angel! I never thought I’d say this, but I now actually look forward to going to a periodontist—as long as it’s Dr. M! I walk out of every appointment with a brighter smile, zero stress and the strange urge to floss twice a day.”
